Started playing hockey at the tender age of two. The family moved from Ajax to Lindsay, ON in 1991 and then to Barrie, ON in 1996.
Incredibly mobile and athletic in general. Tremendous size, to go with his skating ability.
Originally a right wing who converted to defense. Best described as a hybrid defenseman.
Used as a forward later on in his career as well, mostly as an injury replacement.
Prone to mental errors from time to time. Physical but sometimes not tough enough.
Described as a child in an adult body. Owned hundreds of snakes... and also a tiger!
Best defenseman at the 2008 and 2015 World Championships. Also was named to the All-Star team in 2015 when Canada won gold.

Il commença le hockey à 2 ans. Sa famille a déménagé d'Ajax à Lindsay en 1991 puis à Barrie en 1996, toujours dans l'Ontario.
Incroyablement mobile et athlétique. D'un formidable gabarit, associé à des qualités de patinage.
Ailier droit à l'origine, passé à l'arrière. Défenseur hybride est sa meilleure description.
Également utilisé en attaque plus tard dans sa carrière, essentiellement en remplacement de joueur blessé.
Vulnérable mentalement de temps en temps. Physique mais parfois pas assez dur.
Décrit comme un enfant dans un corps d'adulte. Il possède des centaines de reptiles, et même un tigre !
Meilleur défenseur des Mondiaux 2008, puis en 2015 où le Canada remporta l'or.
