Learned to play hockey with SHC Fassa. His father was the vice president of the club for many years.
Between 1993 and 1995 he went to North America to improve his skills, playing junior hockey with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL).
Professional in his approach with good leadership qualities both on and off the ice.
Injuries in later years slowed him down. Retired in 2010.

Fit sa primo-formation au SHC Fassa dont son père fut longtemps vice-président.
Parti deux ans en Amérique du Nord (1993-1995) pour y développer ses talents, et s'y aligna pendant deux ans en OHL avec les Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL).
Très pro et sérieux, un caractère de meneur à la fois sur la glace et dans le vestiaire.
Des blessures contractées en deuxième partie de carrière ont largement freiné sa progression. Arrêta en 2010.
