Younger brother of Gianfranco Da Rin. They both played a tough hockey style and won an incredible 14 Italian league titles just like his brother.
Finished fourth in league scoring 1962/63 (15) and third in 1964/65 (15), third 1966/67 (14), runner-up 1967/68 (9), third 1968/69 (13).
Retired in 1979 but made a brief comeback in 1985 at the age of 46, scoring a few goals. Coached Italy at the 1984 Olympics.
Went on to manage the family owned Hotel Italia in Cortina D’Ampezzo until his retirement. The Hotel was initially operated by his father.
In 2012, with his wife and friend (ex-hockey partner) Gianpaolo Gaspari, he was slightly injured in the head and arm at their Malindi property on the Kenyan coast. The attackers armed with knives were chased away by the police. This quiet holiday home had been purchased by the Da Rin brothers from a family in Cortina.

Jeune frère de Gianfranco Da Rin. Ils jouaient tous deux un hockey très physique et remportèrent l'incroyable total de 14 titres de champion d'Italie.
Quatrième marqueur en 1962/63 (15), troisième en 1964/65 (15), troisième en 1966/67 (14), deuxième en 1967/68 (9), troisième en 1968/69 (13).
A arrêté en 1979 mais a fait un bref retour en 1985 à 46 ans, marquant encore quelques buts. Entraîneur de l'Italie aux Jeux olympiques 1984.
A dirigé l'Hotel Italia à Cortina D'Ampezzo jusqu'à sa retraite. L'hôtel familial était initialement géré par son père.
En 2012, avec sa femme et son ami (ex-partenaire de hockey) Gianpaolo Gaspari, il est légèrement blessé à la tête et au bras dans leur propriété de Malindi, sur la côte du Kenya. Les agresseurs armés de couteaux sont mis en fuite par la police. Cette maison de vacances jusqu'alors tranquille avait été achetée par les frères Da Rin à une autre famille de Cortina.
