His father, Tomáš Sr. played hockey in the Czech hockey league.
Undersized speedster and a dynamic offensive talent. Great hands and quick legs. Not very physical with average strength at best.
Two years of junior hockey in Canada (QMJHL). Part of two NHL seasons with Vegas Golden Knights from 2017 to 2019.
Forward with best pass accuracy in the KHL 2019/20 while playing for Traktor Chelyabinsk (83,7%).
In 2022 he refused to go on playing in Russia because of Ukraine war and signed with Pardubice. In 2023 he extended until 2028 and had excellent regular season stats but failed in the playoffs (0 goals, 6 assists) and was benched in the second half of game 7 of the finals. His long contract was broken and he went to Sparta.

Talent offensif dynamique et rapide. Bonnes mains et jambes rapides. Pas très physique (180 cm, 76 kg) avec une force assez moyenne.
Deux ans en hockey junior au Canada (LHJMQ). Deux saisons partielles en NHL à Las Vegas de 2017 à 2019.
L'attaquant avec la plus grande précision de passe de la KHL en 2019/20 sous le maillot du Traktor Chelyabinsk (83,7%).
En 2022 il refusa de continuer à jouer en Russie à cause de la guerre en Ukraine et signa à Pardubice, avant de parapher un an plus tard une prolongation annoncée en grande pompe jusqu'en 2028. Après une excellente saison régulière il échoua en playoffs (0 but, 6 assists) et passa la seconde moitié du match 7 de la finale sur le banc. Son long contrat fut résilié et il partit au Sparta.
