Defensively oriented blueliner with pretty good size. Played two years in North America. Also played in Finland, Slovakia and Czech Republic, before settling down in the KHL.

Défenseur défensif taillé pour le poste (1,90m, 86kg) qui a passé deux ans dans les ligues mineures nord-américaines. Une fois revenu en 2006, il se balade entre deuxième niveau russe, Finlande, République tchèque et Slovaquie avant de se poser définitivement en KHL chez lui, à Riga.
