Centre offensif pur beurre, capable de marquer lui-même et de créer du jeu. Bon patineur, mains habiles et qualités techniques notables avec un don pour le mouvement inattendu. Une sorte de "Russe" en Norvège adoré par ses supporters pour son jeu certes individualiste mais pas égoïste. Une légende à Storhamar pour lequel il a joué 964 matches.
