Fine passer with good mobility and fine skating. Solid positionally.
Highly regarded as a junior. Voted in the 1991 World Junior Championships all-star team.
He played with the Boston University team then and later married Jaqueline Parker, daughter of his university coach Jack Parker.
Drafted fourth overall in the 1991 NHL draft, just behind Eric Lindros and Scott Niedermayer, but ahead of players like Peter Forsberg and Aleksei Kovalev.
Retired in 2007. Went on to become an NHL-scout.
