Best Polish talent of his generation. Very skilled technically. Able to find out open lines and to deliver sharp passes. Dynamic skater. Powerful shot.
Positive character. Willingness to fight for the puck but average size and physicality. Low defensive awareness.
His father Dariusz Łyszczarczyk won four Polish titles with Podhale and played in two B-Pool World championships with Poland.
Born and raised in Nowy Targ, Poland. At 14 an agent made him sign a contract and found him a tryout in Chomutov. He became by far the top scorer in his first year in the Czech Republic.
Since his parents Dariusz and Dorota had gone to live and work in the USA (Wallington, NJ) after his father hockey career, he could play in Canadian Major Junior without going through the import draft.
ECHL champion 2011, scoring 11 points in 11 playoff games with the Fort Wayne Komets.

Plus grand talent polonais de sa génération. Très doué techniquement, il sait trouver des lignes de passes et donner la rondelle dans la palette. Patineur dynamique. Tir puissant au déclenchement peut-être un peu trop lisible.
Esprit positif dans le vestiaire. Volontaire dans les duels, mais pas très fort physiquement avec un gabarit moyen. Sa vision du jeu est moins bonne sans palet qu'avec.
Son père Dariusz Łyszczarczyk a été quatre fois champion de Pologne avec Podhale et a participé deux fois au Mondial B.
Né et élevé à Nowy Targ en Pologne, Alan a été repéré à 14 ans par un agent qui lui a trouvé un essai dans le club tchèque de Chomutov, où il a explosé les compteurs dès sa première année.
Comme ses parents Dariusz et Dorota étaient partis vivre et travailler en Amérique du Nord (à Wallington dans le New Jersey) après la carrière de joueur de son père, Alan a pu jouer en Junior Majeur sans passer par le repêchage réservé aux joueurs étrangers.
Champion ECHL 2011 en marquant 11 points en 11 matches de playoffs avec les Komets de Fort Wayne.
