Defenseman with an excellent frame at 191 cm (6-3) and 95 kg (210 lbs). Good skater for his size.
A puck-moving blueliner with a lot of poise and hockey sense. Good positioning in the defensive zone.
Strong ability to refocus after a mistake. Not physically imposing despite his size. Not flashy.
Made his NHL debut on January 4, 2014 against the Dallas Stars.
Won an Olympic gold in 2018 (despite playing only one game) and the Gagarin Cup (KHL) in 2019.

Défenseur au gabarit idéal (1m91 et 95 kg), bon patineur pour sa taille.
Un défenseur offensif avec beaucoup de sang-froid et un grand sens du hockey. Bien positionné dans sa zone.
Pas spectaculaire, ni imposant dans le jeu physique, mais mentalement fort, il ne panique jamais et se remet vite d'une erreur.
Il a fait son entrée en NHL le 4 janvier 2014 contre les Stars de Dallas.
Médaillé d'or olympique en 2018 (bien qu'il n'ait joué qu'un match) et vainqueur de la Coupe Gagarine (KHL) en 2019.
21 points (4+17) en 121 parties de saison régulière de NHL.
