Good skater for his size (194 cm, 98 km). Nice puck-moving abilities and poise.
He doesn't deliver many hits and relies more on his body and stick positioning in his own zone.
One of the many big defencemen drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs (in the fifth round in 2008). Left Trenčín in 2009 and spent three years in the AHL (51 points in 200 games) before playing two years in the KHL with Lev Praha 2012-14 (6 points in 70 games). Played the rest of his career in the Czech Republic.
First game with Slovak national team on April 8, 2011 against Austria in his hometown Trenčín.

Bon patineur pour son gabarit (194 cm, 98 km). Il porte bien le palet et le gère avec beaucoup de calme.
Dans sa zone, il donne peu de mises en échec mais s'appuie plus sur le bon placement de son corps et de sa crosse.
Un des nombreux gros défenseurs de grande taille draftés par les Maple Leafs de Toronto (au cinquième tour en 2008), il a quitté Trenčín en 2009 et a passé trois ans en AHL (51 points en 200 parties) avant de jouer deux ans en KHL avec le Lev Prague de 2012 à 2014 (6 points en 70 parties). Il a passé le reste de sa carrière en Tchéquie.
Première sélection en équipe de Slovaquie le 8 avril 2011 dans sa ville natale Trenčín contre l'Autriche.
