Began playing hockey at the age of four. Also competed in other sports.
Good size and a smooth skater. Won a Czech league title in 2013 with Plzeň.
Never drafted by the NHL but was invited by the New York Rangers to their Summer Development Camps in 2013 and 2014. He signed as a free agent with New Jersey Devils in 2015 and played seven games in the NHL with them.
After two seasons in North America, he played in the KHL and Sweden.
First Czech to win the Champions Hockey League (2022 with Rögle).

Il a commencé le hockey à quatre ans. Il a également pratiqué d'autres sports.
Une bonne taille et un bon patinage. Il a remporté l'Extraliga tchèque en 2013 avec Plzeň.
Jamais drafté en NHL, il fut tout de même invité par les Rangers de New York à des camps d'été de développement en 2013 et 2014. Il a signé comme agent libre avec les Devils de New Jersey en 2015 et a joué sept rencontres de NHL avec cette franchise, sans inscrire de point.
Après deux saisons en Amérique du Nord, il a joué en KHL et en Suède.
Premier Tchèque à remporter la CHL, en 2022 avec Rögle.
