Lived close to Trenčín ice rink. His mother enrolled him to hockey school at 4.
His childhood dream was to play with Dukla A-team and he appeared 7 times with 1992 Czechoslovak champion team. He would play a bigger roles in everal other titles: in 1994 and 1997 with Trenčín in Slovakia, but also in the Czech Republic with Vsetín in 2001.
Offensively very skilled player with many moves in his arsenal. Accurate shot.
Excellent skater and really good on powerplays. Ok defensively.
In his first tears in the national team he held the ouck for too long and forgot his teammates who played in the same selfish way. But in 2000 Pardavý had become a complete player who helped Slovakia to get into their first final.
Represented Slovakia 120 times, scoring 45 goals.
Pardavý also played in Finland, Sweden and Russia before playing together with his son in the Slovakian elite league 2012/2013.
Finished his career in 2016 after three years in Strasbourg, France. Worked as an expert hockey commentator on Slovakian TV and debuted as an head coach in the third level with Dubnica for one year.
Became Dukla Trenčín head coach in 2017 and also assistant coach on the Slovakian national team in 2018.

Il vivait à côté de la patinoire de Trenčín et sa mère l'a inscrit à l'école de hockey à 4 ans.
Son rêve d'enfance était de jouer dans l'équipe A du Dukla Trenčín, rêve exaucé à 20 ans quand il apparaît à 7 reprises dans l'équipe championne de Tchécoslovaquie 1992. Il tiendra des rôles majeurs dans trois autres titres, dans la Slovaquie indépendante en 1994 et 1997 avec Trenčín, puis en République tchèque avec Vsetín en 2001.
Joueur offensif très talentueux, il possédait de nombreux mouvements inspirés et un tir précis.
Excellent patineur et très bon en avantage numérique. Défensivement correct.
Dans ses premières années internationales, il avait tendance à trop garder le palet en oubliant ses compagnons de ligne qui le lui rendaient bien. C'est en 2000 qu'il a donné sa pleine mesure individuelle et collective et vécu à la surprise générale la première finale de l'équipe de Slovaquie. Il compte au total 45 buts en 120 sélections nationales.
Après avoir fait le tour des grands championnats européens, en Finlande, en Suède et en Russie, il joue avec son fils en Extraliga slovaque en 2012/2013, puis finit sa carrière par trois saisons à Strasbourg.
En 2016, il raccroche les patins pour devenir commentateur pour la télévision slovaque, mais aussi débuter comme entraîneur à Dubnica en troisième division.
Il prend ensuite la direction du Dukla Trenčín et devient en 2018 entraîneur-adjoint de l'équipe nationale de Slovaquie.
