Not a very mobile defenseman, but with tremendous size and reach. Main strengths was the ability to block shots and play a physical brand of hockey with a lot of hitting.
Played his last game in 2007 but didn’t retire oficially until September 2009. Earned a teaching degree from University of Alberta.
Went on to become a hockey coach.

Pas le plus mobile des défenseurs avec ses dimensions (1,96m, 100kg) qu'il faisait justement valoir, ainsi que son envergure. Pas surprenant, il se distinguait par sa faculté à bloquer les shoots et malmener les attaquants adverses.
Joue son dernier match en 2007, même s'il n'annonce officiellement sa retraite qu'en septembre 2009. Diplômé en enseignement de l'Université d'Alberta, il s'est toutefois reconverti comme entraîneur de hockey chez les jeunes.
