Mobile defenseman with good puck skills. Began playing ice hockey when he was six years old.
Named best defenceman of the Under 18 European championships 1990.
Drafted in the secound round by the Chicago Blackhawks. NHL totals: 19-0-1-1
Voted Slovakia's best defenceman in 1998, before Róbert Švehla (NHL).
Represented Slovakia 69 times (4 goals). Slovah champion with Žilina in 2006.
Retired at 42 in Slovak third (bottom) division and became an assistant-coach for Slovak elite clubs.

Défenseur mobile et habile avec le palet, qui a commencé le hockey à 6 ans. Meilleur défenseur du championnat d'Europe junior 1990.
Choisi au deuxième tour de draft par Chicago, il n'y jouera que 19 parties de NHL (1 assist).
Nommé meilleur défenseur slovaque en 1998, devant Róbert Švehla alors en NHL.
69 sélections (4 buts) avec la Slovaquie. Jamais champion avec Košice, il participe à l'unique titre de Žilina en 2006.
Après un bref passage à Villard-de-Lans à l'automne 2009, il finit sa carrière en deuxième puis en troisième division slovaque.
Il ne raccroche les patins qu'à 42 ans et devient assistant-coach de plusieurs clubs slovaques.
