Highly regarded as a junior with many skill tools. Never able to reach his offensive potential.
Extremely fast on his skates with great penalty-killing skills. Offensive threat when short-handed.
Never a great goal-scorer and could get into prolonged scoring droughts. Good at setting up his teammates.
Three-time World Champion (1999, 2001 and 2005).
Announced his retirement on January 28, 2015.
Started The South Florida Hockey Academy together with Petr Sýkora, Tomas Vokoun and Olli Jokinen.

Jouissait d'une haute considération en tant que junior avec une large palette de talents. Il n'a jamais pu atteindre son potentiel offensif.
Extrêmement rapide sur ses patins avec de grandes capacités en infériorité numérique, où il constituait aussi une menace offensive.
Jamais un grand buteur, il pouvait entrer dans de longues périodes d'inefficacité. Bon pour servir ses coéquipiers.
Triple champion du monde (1999, 2001 et 2005).
Il a annoncé sa retraite le 28 janvier 2015.
Il a lancé la South Florida Hockey Academy avec Petr Sýkora, Tomas Vokoun et Olli Jokinen.
