Older brother of Markus Granlund.
Began playing ice hockey at the age of three in Helsinki. One of Finlands greatest talents of his generation.
Highly skilled and intelligent player. Good at reading plays. Very good on the man advantage.
Rookie of the year in Finland 2010 and also voted as the most gentlemanly player.
Won the double in 2011 when he won the Finnish league championship and the World Championships.
Scored a legendary goal from behind the net by lifting the puck during the 2011 World Championships semi final.
Made the 2014 Olympic All-Star team. Selected as a World Championship All-Star in 2016. World Champion again in 2022.

Réalise le doublé en 2011 en gagnant le championnat de Finlande et les championnats du monde.
Marque un but légendaire de derrière la cage en soulevant le palet en demi-finale des Mondiaux 2011.
Élu dans l'équipe-type des Jeux olympiques 2014 et des Mondiaux 2016, il redevient champion du monde en 2022.
