Versatile forward with pretty good size. Above average playmaker and two-way qualities. Strong at protecting the puck.
Not a natural goal-scorer. Not shooting the puck enough, opting often for a pass instead.
Able to play all three forward positions. He made a NHL career as a fourth line center.
He also debuted with Finland in this position, with immediate success. He became world champion in 2019 and repeated the feat in 2022 (on third line).
Very vocal and extrovert for a Finnish player.
Swiss champion 2024 and 2025 with Zurich. CHL winner 2025 with Zurich.

Attaquant de bon gabarit (188 cm, 87 kg). Bon meneur de jeu, qui brille aussi par ses qualités défensives.
Très fort pour protéger le palet. Pas un buteur toutefois. Il tire trop peu à la cage, optant souvent plutôt pour la passe.
Capable de jouer aux trois positions offensives, il a fait carrière en NHL comme centre de quatrième ligne.
C'est aussi à cette position qu'il a débuté en équipe nationale, pour un succès immédiat. Champion du monde 2019, et encore en 2022, sur la troisième ligne cette fois.
Joueur très bavard pour un Finlandais, toujours à charrier ses coéquipiers.
Champion de Suisse en 2024 et 2025, mais aussi champion d'Europe 2025 avec Zurich.
26 points (11+15) en 159 parties de saison régulière de NHL.
