Dazzling right-handed wrist shot. Strong one-timer in left circle.
Consistent in all three zones. Type of player that the coaches and teammates like to have on their team.
Good at delivering solid and clean hits. Strong work ethic. Fine leadership abilities.
A bit undersized and often overshadowed by flashier teammates. Not very technical or a tactician.
He made his national team debut at on April 7, 2016 vs Slovakia (3-2).
Helped Finland to win a World Championship title in 2019.
Best KHL goalscorer 2021/22 in his second season outside of Finland. Just afterwards he lost his national team spot after first 2022 Olympic game because of a fatal puck loss but still got the Gold Medal in the end. Went on to play in Switzerland afterwards.

Champion du monde 2019. Meilleur buteur de KHL 2021/22, il perd alors sa place en équipe nationale après le premier match des Jeux olympiques 2022 à la suite d'une perte de palet fatale mais finit médaillé d'or. Il part ensuite jouer en Suisse.
