Very physical defenseman (191 cm, 95 kg) and not afraid to initiate contact. Above average passer often showing good judgment when pinching. Weak foot speed and not much of an offensive threat.
Lost his coverage assignments early on in his career. Better suited for games with tight checking, clutching and grabbing. When he gained experience he was used in all game situations and never disappointed.
Assistant captain of the only Slovak team to win an Olympic (bronze) medal, in Beijing 2022.

Défenseur puissant (191 cm, 95 kg) n'ayant pas peur d'aller au feu, doublé d'un bon passeur, assez inspiré pour choisir le moment de rejoindre l'attaque. Son arsenal offensif est toutefois limité, notamment par sa lenteur de patinage.
Il avait tendance à se décharger de ses tâches de couverture défensive en début de carrière parce qu'elles ne correspondaient pas à ses qualités. Adapté aux rencontres heurtées où le contact prime sur les espaces. Quand il gagne en expérience, il peut être utilisé dans toutes les situations de jeu et ne déçoit jamais.
Assistant-capitaine de la seule équipe de Slovaquie médaillée olympique (en bronze), en 2022 à Pékin.
