Strong player around the net. Big solid two-way winger. Good at handling the puck in open ice, with a quick release of his shot. Useful player on the powerplay. Hard worker in the corners and along the boards.
Top scorer in the World Junior Championships and Swedish champion with Björklöven in 1987.
Best player in Swedish league (Guldpucken) and world champion in 1998.
Retired in 2003. Went on to work as an assistant coach for Swedish national team and for the Dallas Stars. Head coach of Frölunda (2008-2010) and of HV71 during two years and a half before getting fired.

Joueur très fort autour du filet. Ailier gros et solide. Bon contrôle du palet dans les espaces, avec un tir à déclenchement rapide. Joueur utile en jeu de puissance. Gros travailleur dans les coins et le long des balustrades.
Meilleur marqueur du Mondial junior et champion de Suède avec Björklöven en 1987.
Meilleur joueur du championnat suédois (Guldpucken) et champion du monde en 1998.

À sa retraite de joueur en 2003, il devient assistant-coach de l'équipe de Suède et des Dallas Stars avant d'être nommé entraîneur-chef de Frölunda (2008-2010) puis de HV71 pendant deux ans et demi avant d'être renvoyé.
