Began skating at the age of three and playing hockey at the age of five together with his sisters, Tanja and Nicola, both of whom have represented the German Womens National team. The three siblings have also tried athletics and judo but chose ice hockey.
He played two years of junior hockey in the WHL for Medicine Hat Tigers.
Attended a few NHL-training camps with Montreal Canadiens. Never managed to earn an NHL-spot and played three years in the AHL.
Returned back to Germany in 2018 and was a key player in Mannheim’s league title in 2019.
Very fast and powerful skater (He won the DEL Stars & Skills event in 2018).
Strong on his skates and strong along the boards.
Not afraid to go in front of the goal and always willing to fearlessly battle for rebounds.
Good at reading plays and pretty strong on the puck. Good one-timer.
Was originally not a player with top end offensive capabilities, but improved in that area.
Had some concussion issues. Speaks German, English and French.

Il a commencé à patiner à 3 ans et à jouer au hockey à 5 ans, avec ses soeurs Tanja et Nicola, également internationales pour l'Allemagne. Tous trois ont aussi pratiqué l'athlétisme et le judo, mais ont choisi le hockey sur glace.
Il a joué deux années juniors en WHL pour les Medicine Hat Tigers.
Il a disputé quelques camps NHL avec les Canadiens de Montréal sans gagner sa place et a joué trois ans en AHL.
Revenu en Allemagne en 2018, il a été un joueur-clé du titre de Mannheim en 2019.
Patineur très rapide et puissant, qui a gagné le concours d'habileté de la DEL en 2018).
Fort sur ses patins et le long des bandes.
Il n'a pas peur d'aller devant le but et de toujours se battre sans crainte pour les rebonds.
Bonne lecture du jeu et assez fort avec le palet. Utilisé en avantage numérique pour son bon one-timer.
Il n'était pas à l'origine un joueur avec des capacités offensives de très haut niveau, mais s'est amélioré dans le domaine.
Il a connu des soucis de commotion. Il parle allemand, anglais et français.
