Sound goalkeeper who could have flashes of brilliance. Longtime fixture of the Polish national team.
He was involved in a weird controversy in 2003 during the Division 1 World Championships Group A held in Hungary. Jaworski played two periods against the host nation though his name was not even on the starting sheet. The Polish delegation claimed it was his deputy, Krzysztof Zborowski, who was actually playing but with Jaworski's jersey, which was a gross lie. Eventually, Jaworski left the ice and the game was won 3-1 by Poland. Hungary let it go because there were no stakes involved except a second place behind promoted Kazakhstan.
Made his whole club career in his native country, playing in Torun, Bytom, Krynica, Oswiecim and Sosnowiec. Three times Polish champion. Retired in 2009. Became a youth coach.

Gardien fiable qui pouvait parfois s'élever largement au-dessus de son niveau. Fut longtemps cadre de son équipe nationale.
Pris dans une drôle d'affaire en 2003 lors des championnats du monde de D1 groupe A disputés en Hongrie. Il disputa une bonne partie du match contre les organisateurs hongrois alors que son nom ne figurait même pas sur la feuille de match. Plus drôle encore, les officiels polonais firent croire qu'ils avaient aligné son remplaçant Zborowski, mais avec le maillot de Jaworski ! Personne ne crut à ce mensonge et Jaworski finit par quitter la glace, laissant son n°2 finir une rencontre remportée 3-1 par les Polonais. Comme il n'y avait plus aucun enjeu, les Hongrois laissèrent filer.
Trois fois champion de Pologne à l'issue d'une carrière de club entièrement passée dans son pays natal. Parti à la retraite en 2009, devenu entraîneur de jeunes.
