Small but quick player with a good understanding of the game. Average skater.
Called for thie first time with Korean national team in February 2016 during a tournament in Denmark when he was the best scorer and passer with Yonsei University in his third college year.
He only played six shifts and 3:31 of ice time against the Czech Republic in the 2018 Olympics.
Got a wrist injury during 2018 World Championships.

Joueur petit, clairvoyant sur la glace. Patineur moyen.
Sélectionné pour la première fois en équipe de Corée en Sud pour un tournoi au Danemark en février 2016 alors qu'il est le meilleur marqueur et passeur de Yonsei à sa troisième année universitaire.
Très peu utilisé lors des JO 2018, 3'31" en six présences contre la République tchèque, il trouve quand même le moyen d'y prendre deux minutes de pénalité.
Blessé au poignet au cours des championnats du monde 2018.
