Simple game, but with skill and offensive polish. Large amount of leadership in any situation.
Sometimes not in control of his emotions when challenged physically.
Good leader who became the youngest permanent captain in NHL history.
Won the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s top rookie in 2012.
Captained the Colorado Avalanche to the 2022 Stanley Cup.
First NHL player to come back to play after a rare knee cartilage transplant. The invasive surgery was the fourth one in his right knee after he got injured by a teammate's skate during 2020 playoffs. Landeskog chose this last-resort option in May 2023 and scored 2 points in his first game after three years without playing late April 2025.

Premier joueur de NHL à réussir à rejouer après une greffe de cartilage, opération de la dernière chance pour son genou droit, blessé accidentellement pendant les playoffs 2020 (par le patin de son coéquipier Cale Makar). Il décide de cette intervention rare en mai 2023 et marque 2 points à son premier match après quasiment trois saisons blanches, fin avril 2025.
