Grew up idolizing Marian Hossa. Big center with a good understanding of the game.
Best used in the role of a defensive minded checker and penalty killer.
Not afraid to play physical and dishing out hits.
Solid hands but not a natural offensive force.
Pretty slow skater compensating the lack of quickness with overall smartness. Played two years of junior hockey in Canada.
Drafted in the NHL by New York Islanders in 2006.
Spent four seasons playing minor league hockey in North America (AHL).

Fils de Miroslav Marcinko qui représenta la Slovaquie à ses premiers Jeux olympiques.
Son idole de jeunesse était Marian Hossa. Grand centre avec une bonne compréhension du jeu.
Utilisé au mieux dans le rôle du contrôle défensif et des infériorités numériques.
Il n'a pas peur de jouer physique et d'infliger de grosses charges.
De bonnes mains mais pas un atout offensif naturel.
Patineur plutôt lent mais qui compense par son intelligence de jeu. Il joua deux ans en junior au Canada.
Drafté en NHL par les Islanders de New York en 2006, il a passé quatre saisons en équipe-ferme (AHL).
