Not fancy or spectacular but solid allround player and reliable defensively.
Liked to crash the net and was a fairly efficient power forward.

Member of the exclusive Triple Gold Club (World champion 1998, Stanley Cup 2004, Olympic champion 2006).
Back problems forced him to announce his retirement on May 19, 2011.
