Several of his family members has been involved in hockey as players, his older brother Nic and cousins Dante & Demico Hannoun.
His family has Italian origins from Calabria. Holder of both Italian and Canadian passports.
In 2016 he was the only Canadian player among the ten Hobey Baker finalists for the top US college player.
Good skater and heady player, but his small size (5'9") kept him out of the NHL.
Nifty with the puck and able to create a lot of scoring chances.
Moved to Italy in 2017. Have also played in Germany, Hungary and Slovenia.

Sa famille est d'origine calabraise. Il possède la double nationalité italienne et canadienne.
En 2016, il était le seul Canadien parmi les dix finalistes du trophée Hobey Baker, récompensant le meilleur joueur universitaire aux.
Bon patineur et joueur intelligent, sa petite taille (1m75) l'a toutefois empêché d'intégrer la NHL.
Habile avec le palet, il est capable de se créer de nombreuses occasions de marquer.
Il s'est installé en Italie en 2017, et a également joué en Allemagne, en Hongrie et en Slovénie.
