Not so strong physically, although having decent size.
Very decent shot but not using it often enough. Drafted in the NHL by Buffalo Sabres 2005.

Capable de jouer sur les deux ailes. Développement précoce dans sa technique, son contrôle du palet et son patinage.
Dès ses débuts à 17 ans, il se distinguait par sa lecture des situations et jouait avec beaucoup de calme.
Il fait ses passes au bon moment dans un timing qui permet à ses coéquipiers de prendre de la vitesse.
Pas si fort physiquement, malgré une taille correcte (188 cm, 91 kg).
Bon tir qu'il n'utilise pas assez. Drafté en NHL en 2005 par les Sabres de Buffalo.
154 sélections en équipe d'Allemagne. Il a pris sa retraite internationale en 2017 à seulement 30 ans.
