World junior champion 1984. Soviet champion 1990 and 1991 with Dynamo Moscow. Russian champion 1999 and European champion 1999 and 2000 with Metallurg Magnitogorsk. Belarusian champion 2004 and 2005 with Yunost Minsk.
Represented Belarus 57 times, scoring 12 points (5+7).
Retired during the 2006/2007 season. Became a coach in the KHL, Ukraine and Belarus.
Also coached the Belarus junior national team and was an assistant coach for the senior national team.
His younger brother Pavel also represented Belarus, and another brother, Aleksandr worked as a conditioning coach in the KHL.
