Right-handed center. Explosive skater with a good balance, lateral agility and powerful stride. Very swift with the ability to handle the puck and make plays while moving at top speed. Soft hands and good at protecting the puck. Not afraid to make difficult passes through tight areas. Creative player with great on ice vision. Inconsistent in getting into the dirty areas of the ice on a constant basis. Sometimes playing too much of a perimeter game.
Debuted in senior team at 17 on a line between Martin Erat and Marek Kvapil. Czech champion 2017 and 2018.
In 2019 he captained the Czech Republic in the World Junior Championships and won the Calder cup in the AHL.
Back in 2010 he admired the celebration of three World champions (Rolinek, Koukal and Vampola) in his hometown Žďár nad Sázavou. In 2024 he succeeded them as Czech gold medalist when he came to Prague with a broken toe and without any NHL contract or insurance for next year.

Centre droitier. Patineur explosif avec un bon équilibre, de l'agilité latérale et une foulée puissante. Très vif dans son contrôle du palet à pleine vitesse, il le protège bien grâce à ses mains habiles. Joueur créatif avec une excellente vision sur la glace, qui ne craint pas les passes difficiles dans des espaces étroits. Inconstant quand il d'aller là où ça fait mal de manière régulière, il reste parfois trop jouer dans le périmètre.
Il débute en senior à 17 ans sur une ligne entre Martin Erat et Marek Kvapil. Champion tchèque 2017 et 2018.
En 2019 il fut capitaine de la République tchèque aux Mondiaux juniors puis remporta la Coupe Calder de champion AHL.
Il avait assisté avec des yeux admiratifs d'enfant à la célébration de trois champions du monde (Rolinek, Koukal et Vampola) en 2010 dans leur ville de Žďár nad Sázavou. En 2024 c'est lui qui leur succède au palmarès des médaillés d'or tchèques après avoir débarqué aux Mondiaux de Prague avec un orteil cassé et sans contrat ou assurance pour la saison suivante.
