Son of former Danish top goalie, Ernst Andersen. His sister Amalie, born in 1999, played ice hockey in Sweden.
Big goalie filling up a lot of the net with his frame. Good composure and raw talent.
Born and raised in Herning. He played for his local club until 2009 when he shifted to Frederikshavn, where he burst to fame. After a short stay in Sweden, he entered the NHL.
He engaged to the sister of his Carolina teammate Bready Skjei's wife. He won 2026 Stanley Cup with the Hurricanes. During his day with the trophy in Denmark he chose to bring it to Legoland theme park.

Fils d'Ernst Andersen, qui fut un des meilleurs gardiens danois de son époque. Il appartient à une dynastie de hockeyeurs puisque sa sœur Amalie, née en 1999, joue en Suède.
Il profite de sa carrure (1,92m, 104 kg) pour bien couvrir sa cage. Il ne se contente pas de cela et y ajoute une bonne dose de talent pur, doublée d'un grand calme.
Né et formé à Herning, il a éclaté à Frederikshavn avant de migrer en Suède (avec Frölunda) et d'être intégré à la NHL.
Fiancé à la sœur de l'épouse de Brady Skjei, son coéquipier dans la Caroline. Il remporte la Coupe Stanley 2026 avec les Hurricanes et, lors de sa journée avec le trophée au Danemark, il choisit de l'apporter... au parc d'attractions Legoland !
