Son of former Danish top goalie, Ernst Andersen. Belongs to a dynasty of hockey players: his sister Amalie, born in 1999, plays in Sweden and his cousin Victor, the same age as Amalie, is one of Denmark's biggest prospects.
Big goalie filling up a lot of the net with his frame. Good composure and raw talent.
Born and raised in Herning. He played for his local club until 2009 when he shifted to Frederikshavn, where he burst to fame. After a short stay in Sweden, he entered the NHL where he has already tallied more than a century of games.

Fils d'Ernst Andersen, un des meilleurs gardiens de l'histoire... avec son fils, désormais! Appartient à une dynastie de hockeyeurs (sa sœur Amalie joue en Suède, son cousin Victor est un des grands espoirs du hockey danois...).
Il profite de sa carrure (1,92m, 104 kg) pour bien couvrir sa cage. Il ne se contente pas de cela et y ajoute une bonne dose de talent pur, doublée d'un grand calme.
Né et formé à Herning, il a éclaté à Frederikshavn avant de migrer en Suède et d'être intégré à la NHL, où il compte déjà une bonne centaine de matches dans l'organisation des Ducks d'Anaheim, puis des Maple Leafs de Toronto.
