Great hockey pedigree in the family. Son of ex-NHL’er František Musil.
Grandson of Jaroslav Holik and greatnephew of Jiří Holik, both longtime members of the Czechoslovakian national team.
Also, his uncle Bobby Holik was a longtime NHL-player. His younger brother Adam Musil also represented the Czech Republic.
He was drafted in the NHL by Edmonton Oilers in 2011 and attended his first NHL training camp with them that same year.
Good sized defenseman and a strong character-guy just like his father.
