Began playing ice hockey at the age of nine.
His hockey heroes growing up was Marian Hossa and Aleksandr Ovechkin.
Loads of skill and an ideal frame for the NHL. Technically very good.
Excellent scoring instincts and pretty good hockey sense.
Only average at best in his defensive-zone coverage.
Spent a total of 13 seasons in North America before moving back to Europe.
In April 2018, an intoxicated Pánik was arrested after refusing to leave the entrance of Bevvy, near Scottsdale, Arizona.
He was booked into Scottsdale City Jail for criminal trespass and later released with a criminal citation.

En avril 2018, Pánik, ivre, a été arrêté après avoir refusé de quitter l'entrée de Bevvy, près de Scottsdale, en Arizona.
Il a été incarcéré à la prison municipale de Scottsdale pour intrusion criminelle, puis libéré avec une citation à comparaître.
