A small (170 cm/5-7) waterbug type of player. Always gives 100% and works a lot in training and in the gym.
Decent skater. Good with the puck in full speed. Excellent shot and hockey IQ.
Won the SM-liiga with Kärpät once. Played one year in Sweden and went on to play in the KHL for Jokerit and Salavat Yulaev. Played along Teemu Hartikainen in Ufa, with national team and in Geneva when he became European champion in 2024.
Helped Finland win the 2019, 2022 and 2026 World Championships.
Aleksander Barkov praised when he play on his line: "I really liked the way Mane played. At times, I wasn't quite as quickly involved in his thoughts, because he thinks about the game so well. You make chances from situations that an awful lot of people can't do."

Joueur très petit (1m70) qui ne peut pas s'appuyer sur des qualités athlétiques naturelles.
Il se donne donc à 100% chaque jour à l'entraînement comme en match et travaille beaucoup en musculation.
Patineur correct. Très bon avec le palet à pleine vitesse. Il allie à un excellent tir sa science du jeu et de la passe.
Champion de Finlande 2015 avec les Kärpät, il a joué une saison en Suède avant de rejoindre la KHL, chez lui à Helsinki puis à Oufa. Dans ce club russe, il devient le passeur attitré de Teemu Hartikainen, qu'il retrouvera en équipe nationale puis à Genève-Servette, champion d'Europe 2024.
L'un des artisans essentiels des titres finlandais lors des Championnats du monde 2019, 2022 et 2026.
Aleksander Barkov déclara après avoir joué sur sa ligne : "J'ai vraiment aimé la façon de jouer de Mane. Parfois, je n'au pas suivi ses pensées assez vite, car il pense le jeu si bien. On se crée des occasions sur des situations dont beaucoup n'auraient rien fait."
