Began skating and playing ice hockey at age three. His father was Norwegian bandy champion.
Very lanky and offensively skilled forward with quick feet given his imposing size (194 cm / 6'4).
Creative and speedy player with good hockey sense and strong technical skills.
Strong with the man advantage, but also pretty decent defensively.
Inconsistent and too lanky to withstand the pounding on an almost nightly basis in professional hockey.
Drafted in the NHL by Toronto Maple Leafs 2010. Had a tryout with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) but failed to earn a contract.
Aside from Norway, Olden played in Canada, Sweden, Croatia, Austria, England and Switzerland.

Sondre a commencé le hockey sur glace à trois ans. Son père fut champion de Norvège en bandy.
Attaquant très élancé et doué offensivement, rapide compte tenu de sa taille imposante (1m94).
Joueur créatif et rapide, doté d'un sens du jeu et d'une technique riche.
Fort en avantage numérique, et également bon défensivement. Parfois un peu nonchalant.
Trop peu régulier et trop maigre pour résister aux coups presque tous les soirs dans un milieu professionnel.
Drafté en NHL par les Maple Leafs de Toronto en 2010, il a fait un essai avec les Marlies de Toronto (AHL) sans obtenit de contrat.
En dehors de sa Norvège natale, Olden a joué au Canada, en Suède, en Croatie, en Autriche, en Grande-Bretagne et en Suisse.
