Younger brother of Mathis Olimb. His father Jan represented Norway in the 1980s.
A product of Manglerud Star, but made his league debut with Vålerenga.
Small, smart and offensive-minded forward. Pretty good hands and reliable scorer.
Good at reading plays. Very strong in puck battles.
In his youth he wore #20 like his father. Because the number was already taken he doubled it and took #40, which became his usual jersey number.
Missed a whole season after a concussion vs Denmark during 2024 Olympic qualification tournament.
Father of twins in 2024. Won famous Norwegian adventure / TV reality show 71° nord in 2025.

Frère cadet de Mathis Olimb. Son père Jan était international norvégien dans les années 1980.
Pur produit du club de Manglerud Star, il a percé en championnat avec Vålerenga.
Attaquant offensif petit et intelligent. De bonnes mains. Marqueur fiable devant la cage.
Une excellente lecture du jeu. Très fort dans les duels pour le palet.
Il portait dans sa jeunesse le n°20 comme son père, mais comme le numéro était pris, il le doubla pour passer au n°40 qui le suivit toute sa carrière.
Saison blanche en club après une commotion cérébrale en qualification olympique contre le Danemark en septembre 2024.
Père de jumeaux en 2024. Il remporte en 2025 la plus célèbre émission d'aventure et de télé-réalité norvégienne, 71° nord.
